EGroupware

So, I've been looking for a calendar application for some time now. Basically, I sort of like Outlook, but I need something that'll be available from the Internet so I can consult my calendar from anywhere, and ideally Narelle should also be able to use it so she can stuff my schedule silly with going out at night.

I finally managed to get EGroupware running, and first impression is pretty good (I'd tried it a long time ago but gave up on it as it was too darn slow on that P100 I used to have: it's all PHP, you know). Installation, on the other hand, is a bummer: you're asked for a database username and password, a header configuration username and password, an administrator username and password, and you generally don't really know what the roles are supposed to be. Oh well.

So, after playing a little with it, it seems to do all I need (and way way waaaaay more) while being reasonnably easy to use. There'd just be a command line missing :-) I'll introduce Narelle to it soon and we'll see if we can carry on as happy grouped rabbits.
