Policy on translations of content on this Web site

I occasionally receive requests to link translations from my Web site. It turns out these are usually Google Translation pages, and the requests are SEO hacks to try to increase the target Web site’s ranking.

Consequently, I have decided the following policy for translations on this Web site:

  • I am happy to host a translation on my own Web site.
  • I reserve the right to remove the translation without notice if a native speaker claims that it is a plain Google Translate translation, or that the translation is low-quality.
  • I will set up no link towards any other Web site that would host translations. If you are geniunely interested in translating the contents, it should not matter where it is hosted.
  • Your name and organisation will appear as credit to the translation, but without hyperlinks.

If these conditions are unacceptable to you, please do not translate any contents.
